Bo Don't Know Jack - New Music from State Champs:

As I mentioned the last time I put up one of their videos - the severely slept on Real Good Feel - DeKalb's emcee duo The State Champs have recently been putting out a consistent stream of songs vaguely reminiscent of what the Native Tongues camp used to put out. They're not quite on that level yet, though they're getting closer with each release and they're fast becoming one of my favorite independent groups out right now. The Native Tongues comparison seems even more apt with their latest single, which riffs off of Phife's "Ayo Bo knows this..." opening line from Scenario. Check it out:

Bo Jackson is off of a collaboration EP the State Champs recently put out with Chicago rapper Ezekial 38 as the group Conservation Area, 1st Round Draft Picks EP. Here's one other cut from the album:
