Dialect & Despair - Games Wired
Not counting the reading of occasional posts from Robbie over at unkutdotcom, my exposure to Australian hip hop up to this point has been fairly limited. I might have to start paying more attention if this latest song from Dialect & Despair is at all representative of what the country is capable of putting out. This Oz duo don't necessarily look the part for the tough talk rhymes that are being dropped, and fans of a more progressive hip hop sound might not be digging this one, but for someone like me who's still waiting for a revival of 90's boom bap this Primo-esque beat is sounding just right.
