I was recently reminded of this clip, which has been around for a while now, after watching the Tupac "documentary" Resurrection this past weekend. As far as I know an unedited version of this home video has yet to be released on the internet, so this is the best I could come up with on youtube. For those of you who have never seen it before, the girl in the video is the Fresh Prince's wife Jada Pinkett, who was a friend of Pac's back in high school. No matter how many times I watch this, it's impossible to watch Tupac lip synch the line "Come on and take a ride with a helluva guy" with that big goofy grin on his face without cracking up.
The Pac clip is a good enough excuse as any to throw up the classic video for Parents Just Don't Understand, a video that caused me to spend my entire summer after third grade sitting through hour after hour of MTV programming just to catch the occasional replay of it.
It's unlikely I'll ever be posting Will Smith songs up on this site ever again, so I might as well take this opportunity to throw up my favorite Fresh Prince song, Brand New Funk. Say what you want about Will's squeaky clean approach to lyricism, but he could ride a beat. Peep:
