After the final episode of Lost, in which any attempt to resolve the first five seasons was cast aside in favor of appealing to the type of fan who thought the central mystery of the show was whether Kate would end up bagging Jack or Sawyer (but I digress), I was tempted to post the 5 O'Clock Shadowboxers' Bottomfeeders. Aside from it just being an overall tremendous song, in between references to several other film and tv classics Zilla Rocca drops the line, "Show some Dharma Initiative!" A tenuous link to Lost, sure, but certainly better than my previous attempt to boost pageviews by tying the career of former freestyle king Supernatural to the supernatural premise of the show (regrettably that's an actual post from 2006, though I can't seem to find it in the archives). My plans for posting that song, however, were soon derailed after watching my laptop go up in black smoke [monster] shortly after watching the finale.
In any event, the Shadowboxers recently performed Small Pro's remix of the song and posted video of it over on their Tumblr page. As if guided by a blonde haired MacGuffin with a Peter Pan/Messiah complex, I felt compelled to post the video. The audio is a little rough, so here's the studio version as well:
