Though there's a good chance the majority of you have already heard this song on one of the many sites that posted it last week, I can't pass up an opportunity to post some new music from my man Mally. So here's the newest joint that Mal put together with Detroit songwriter Danami and Miami producer Marcus Banks, Better Days. Lyrically Mally is so far ahead of just about every other unsigned rapper out right now, packing each bar with some sort of metaphor or play on words all while keeping a coherent narrative throughout, that it often takes a few listens to catch up to everything he has to say. This song continues his trend of dense lyricism, so throw on a good pair of headphones and give it a listen:
The song is a promo of sorts for Mally's upcoming album, The Quality of Mind, which will be out sometime next fall. In the meantime, he'll be making an appearance on Tommey Walker's new mixtape that's coming out on April 30th.
