When it comes to Reef the Lost Cauze, I'm generally of the opinion that the man can do no wrong. That being said, I'm not too sure what to make of his latest collaboration with Philly hardcore band Barricade. I suppose my general disinterest in hearing angry dudes growl over the sound of electric guitars has something to do with my mixed reaction to this one. Reef does get a pretty amazing break to rap over in the middle of the song (around the 1:00 mark), though, and he tears it apart as usual. The tattooed scrippa in the video keeps things interesting, too, and all in all it's hard to hate on Reef for branching out and supporting a band from his hometown. I just wish he had another verse or two on here.
Speaking of Reef, don't sleep on the verse that he did for Floodwatch's tremendous remix of Get That Gun, off of the Bring Me the REMIX of Zilla Rocca Mixtape (still available for free!).
