50 Cent, Joe Budden and Jay-Z:

Get Rich or Die Tryin', the semi-biographical movie about 50 cent (the studio gangsta, not the original Fifty Cent) came out last night, and in honor of that I am posting my favorite 50 Cent dis track.

In this track, which I admit is kind of old (summer 2004), Joe Budden raps over Billy Joel's Big Shot and just tears apart 50 and G-Unit. On 50:

I think maybe the steroids is finally getting to him
Or maybe its the people believing all the hard raps
Or maybe its the tank tops with the bra straps
. . .
Same artist you was dissin' is exactly who you've become

I won't lie and pretend I don't bump 50 in the stereo from time to time, but I have to agree with what Joey says here. Is there any real difference between Ja Rule doing constant duets with Ashanti and 50 Cent's work with Olivia at this point? And just to clarify the "bra straps" line, here's a picture:

On The Game:

I got the tape of this gangsta on Change Of Heart
Teary Eyed Cause his shorty had a change of heart
But smell something fishy there's a con in the air
His tongue's pierced with streaks of blonde in his hair

Change of Heart is a dating show. The Game went on it and lost. Here's a picture of that:

Now this is the kind of trash talk I was hoping Jay-Z would provide at his concert. Didn't happen, though there are rumors he's got something to say about 50 soon.

Anyway, here is the Joe Budden track: G-Unit Diss (mp3)

Comments:
Well, I agree with you on Joe Budden, and 50 is a snitch. But Banks fell off lyrically, and I don't think that's 50's fault. Banks just got lazy.
