Mick Boogie and The Game: The Dope Game 2:

Your boy's got to do some Christmas shopping this morning, so just a quick post for today. From Mick Boogie's The Dope Game 2 Hosted By The Game:

Game and Biggie -- Let's Ride (Kontempt Remix)
Game and Dr. Dre -- Remedy (Mick Boogie / Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos Remix)

If you can put up with The Game (and as much as I hate to admit it, this dude's grown on me quite a bit in the past few months), there are some pretty dope remixes and blends to be found on this mixtape. The tape also has just about every version of One Blood you could hope for, with versions for the West, East and South. My Minnesota peoples will apparently have to wait a little longer for an Up North One Blood remix, though.

For more on The Game, AllHipHop has an interview with him discussing his time in foster care and his current situation with Dre.

Comments:
That remedy remix is pretty tight. Chuck D's verse over that beat is pretty much untouchable tho.

I never new 'do it again' was about gillie and his crew. back then i just assumed it was about jada ('three cuts in your eyebrow tryna wile out')

I remember Dutch and Spade doing an interview after Do It Again came out. From what I remember, they said they were better rappers than Beanie and that they should get more money than him for their guest appearance. They were really feeling themselves.

I gotta track that "Yeah That's Us" song down. I remember that was actually a hot song for a few weeks.

And poor Randy, man. That kid's well on his way to becoming the next Bubbles, homeless and snitching.

I didn't know Roscoe was from Philly. I always just assumed he was from Virginia. I haven't heard much from him, but that one track he did over the Nike Freestyle beat was dope.

I think I still have that Soul Assassins cd somewhere in my collection. I haven't listened to it in years, but I will never forget The Puppet Masters video. Crazy.

I have a few top 10s in mind. I'll probably drop them the week before New Year's. Other sites seem to have the usual top 10s pretty well covered so I'll try to get creative with it.
